Performers and DJs sTiTches sTiTches is a collaborative effort comprised of GORE GIRLS. We are plucked like poisonous flowers from the darkest parts of Portland's underground scene by Miss Mindy herself. Each sTiTch bitch brings her own style of horror and mayhem to the stage. That means no two shows are alike! We portray a dangerous cocktail of homicide mixed with gorgeous women and a dash of the giggles. It's our opportunity to take a stab at the ironies of life, kitchen knife style. It's entertaining, bloody, booby and sometimes scary. If your eyes are open *and* you have a pulse, you just might learn something. Experience us LIVE! We'll leave you in sTiTches.... Master of Ceremonies Your Master of Ceremonies Andrew Hansen aka Dexter Sinister comes to you on a Gemini rising with a personality split between light and dark. He comes to you after performing music for fashion shows in this country and others. He looks forward to leading the Induviae voyeurs for a night full of Theater and Threads. The travels that brought him to you began with meditation in the temples of South East Asia and continued with crawling in the under belly of Europe's night life. Studying healing Arts in Tokyo and the art of Sonic Alchemy in London's Slime Light has bisected your host with both purity and corruption. Upon returning to his Northwest home in the late nineties he further refined his bi-polar sensibilities with projects like Lava Demuré, Julian Tulip's Licorice, Autism and Stalking Jane. Andrew has headlined some of the Northwest's largest fetish events as well as performed at the Oregon Country Fair. These projects have opened up for bands as diverse as Sol Invictus and IAMX. Swinging on both sides of the stage Andrew has performed keyboards with Attrition as well as Stage Managed the Vampire Masquerade Ball. Both as humble servant and Master of Ceremonies it is his honor and by his pleasure to serve the patrons of Induviae. Photos by NagaSita / Post Processing by Ogo Eion (iokaos.net) DJs Horrid I started DJing in in the late 80s when I was the DJ in an amusement park playing The Cult, Jane's Addiction, and Fishbone for some spinning ride that made people throw up a lot. 1991 (?) put me on an "alternative" radio station in Danbury CT called WXCI (I went by DJ SCAB back then). From there I had an opportunity to start doing local NY State clubs suck as the the legendary Images, and later its bastard offspring; The Boardwalk and the Briar Patch (affectionately referred to as The Snatch Patch). Then I moved to NYC. I filled in at some of the bigger clubs (The Bank, Limelight, Pyramid) and then the goth scene got kind of lame; I blame techno and Nirvana. I started DJing metal nights at the old Scrap Bar, Coyote Ugly before it became a sideshow act, and other trendy bars in Manhattan's lower east side. Moving to Portland Oregon breathed new life into my old gothic self, and I started the Hive night (with Dean and DJ Blackout) I have also have done/do Dementia, Darkside, The Opium Den, AUTOMATIC, and Reflux. After one year, I retired from Hive and did parties, some fetish nights at Berbatti's, Fright Town, plus two Vampire Balls and the Blasphemy Ball. I had 2 shifts during Convergence 13 and I have to say, I had a fucking blast. I currently DJ at SHADOWPLAY at the Fez. I strongly believe in taking requests, mixing up genres, and try and get the dance floor going. On any given night expect to hear goth, metal, ebm, 80s, punk, industrial, and cartoon music. I do not give a shit about beat matching, I simply try to entertain. Megadeath I've been DJing at clubs in Portland for the past 2 years, spinning dark/electro/robotic/industrial/DANCE music. I love to dance so I'm addicted to songs that make me move, and with that I do my best to make you move. I started SICK. with some friends and I love what I do, I love creating an environment where freaks from all different scenes come together and party. Ronabell After twenty years of deejaying, Ronabell has been coined "Master of Fuckbeats". He has deejayed all over the U.S.A. and in Germany, and is the resident DJ for San Francisco based Temple of Atonement. Locally, you can catch him spinning at Portland's own Deacon X's Fetish Night, and The Conservatory. Ronabell has gotten his beat on for crowds at Lollapalooza 2003, Burning Man 2006 & 2008, Convergence 13, Orycon 29 and Conflux. His style is intense and erotic, so be prepared to dance!
